Fireworks, fireworks, fireworks, fireworks. No matter how many times I say it to myself or out loud, they don't seem appealing. Is it the colors that suck people in? Look at a color palette. Is it the lights? Take a trip to a lighting store. Or maybe its the atmosphere of having people around you, celebrating for the same reason. The coming of a new year. Let's take a trip down memory lane, this year has been a one massive rite of passage. The majority of this year I experienced an amazing love that I would never forget, friendships that I hope to never break and experiences that I hope will assist me throughout future occurrences. I've celebrated the blue sky almost everyday of this year, taking in every breath of air, every hint of happiness and every push of opportunity. the cons to this year, the tears, the sadness, the misunderstandings and the failures. But they say smiles and ice cream is the cure for everything. Except cancer! Next year would never compare to this year, unless this year would play on repeat, with the tragic twists omitted, and the smiles relived. I haven't matured, I haven't grown at all, I don't think I could ever mature and become the adult everybody's expecting out of me (or any other teenager), I am forever young.
